Anyone know of a bulk activated carbon supplier ?

I was hoping someone may know of a bulk activated carbon supplier in
the UK (ideally).

I change the carbon in my filter every couple of months and each time
I pay £12 for a few bags of carbon, there has to be a cheaper option -
I hope.

Black Diamond sells the stuff in cans. I don't remember what I paid for
a can, but was a two year's supply for me. The carbon seems to be of
very good quality.

P.S.

I THINK it was about $6-$8 U.S. for a 16oz can. You can get bigger cans
too.

I don't know if you want to (or can) order the stuff online, but here's
a price of the exact stuff I bought. They sell the stuff in 4lbs bulk.

Here in the US, larger garden stores carry the carbon as a soil
additive. I can't compare quality as I don't use charcoal anymore, but
the price is aroun $5 US (approx 3 GBP) for maybe a pound of the stuff.
Worth a shot? Perhaps.

I've done a bit more searching and came across this site

which sells activated aquarium carbon for £3.65 for !Kg !!!
I currently pay about £12 for 500g (I think)
